Seemingly never happy with settling for the character sheets I'm given, halfway through a Fourth Edition Dungeons & Dragons campaign I set out to create my own with a focus on transparency of content and elegance of form with an old-world flavor.
A two page version summarizes the most important information for those not worried about opening a reference book occasionally during play. The four page version keeps everything at your fingertips, and is especially useful for characters with lots of powers and rituals or players who lean toward intricate backstories or meticulous note-taking.
